How do I get started? |
| It's easy to sign up and there is no set up charge. Just follow the 3 step instructions and you can be up and running in a matter of minutes.
What is required of me to sign up? |
| All you need is a website on which you can place simple HTML code. We never ask you for money. Anyone can sign up for Ad4bucks as long as you operate a legal web site. Once you sign up and Ad4bucks approves your site, you’re set to go.
How do I know what to charge? |
| You decide how much you want to charge per week. The less you charge, the more likely you are to sell advertising space. Generally, $10-$200 per week is the going rate depending on how many unique visitors your site has and how many of them click ads.
We encourage you to start lower and gradually raise the Cost per Week each week as your site builds an advertiser following.
What kind of statistics do you offer? |
| All of your customers will be able to view real-time statistics, and you will be able to view stats on all of your customers' ads. We break it down by day and number of clicks. As we charge a flat rate by the week, the number of clicks generated is the important number that advertisers care about.
Do I get to approve (or deny) the ads on my site? |
| Although ads start showing instantly by default, you will be sent an email each time an ad is purchased with links to either approve or deny the advertisement
What do you do with unsold space? |
| If there is a situation where you have "unsold space," meaning there aren't enough paid advertisements to fill your ad box, Targeted CPC (RON) ads will appear.

How many pictures are displayed with each PhoText ad? |
| Each PhoText ad displays one picture.
Can I have an ad box for PhoText ads and ad box for text ads on the same page? |

| Targeted Cost Per Click (RON) Ads: |
What are Targeted CPC (RON) ads? |
| Targeted CPC (RON) ads are run of network ads that are served only to online visitors within a specific geographic region and/or site category.
How does it work? |
| Targeted CPC (RON) ads only circulate to the region(s) and categories specified by the advertiser. For example, if the advertiser limits the Targeted CPC (RON) ad to only “Business and Finance” sites in the U.S. and Canada, the ad will only be seen by visitors from those regions on sites within that category.
Do I need to change the code on my site? |
| No. There are no changes you need to make.
How much am I paid for Targeted Cost per Click (RON) Ads? |
| You are paid per click for Targeted Cost per Click ads on your website. The amount you earn for each click depends on where the click occurred.
For example, we are able to pay a higher CPC for a U.S. click than we are for a click that comes from Vietnam as there is greater demand for U.S. traffic on our network.
However, you are paid for every good click, even if it is just a penny or two for countries typically considered as invalid.

What is the difference between sales and earnings reports? |
| The Sales report shows ad sales based on the date the ad was purchased. This helps you see exactly when an ad was bought, even if it is scheduled to be displayed on a later date.
The Earnings report shows earnings based on when the ad was displayed on your site. The Earnings report reflects how much money you have made on a certain day. This is the report you should run to determine how much you can expect to get paid in your next payment, not the Ad Sales report.
Can you give me an example?
If someone purchases a 3-week ad on January 1st, and the cost of the ad $70 per week, the Sales report will reflect a $210 sale on January 1st.
The Earnings report will show how much you've made for each day the ad has been displayed on your site. So, if you are running an Earnings report for January 1 through January 7, you will see that you have earned $10 for each day that the ad has been displayed on your site ($70 per week divided by 7 days in a week) for a total of $70 in earnings for that week. The earnings for the second and third weeks in January will be reflected on the Earnings report in a similar manner.
Why is this feature important? |
| This feature not only helps our publishers track when sales are made, and how their earnings are divided over time, but also helps ensure that our advertisers only pay for days his or her ad is actually shown.
What are projected future earnings? |
| Projected Future Earnings are the earnings that a publisher will receive from displaying Weekly Ads that have been sold but not yet displayed.
Projected Future Earnings do not include the value of the any Targeted CPC (RON) ads that may be displayed in the future.
How can I determine what I will be paid in my next payment? |
| To determine what you will be paid for last month run the Earnings Report and select "Last Month". The total is at the top of the page and this is the amount that will be paid on or around the 15th of the month.
How do I estimate how much I will earn this month? |
| To estimate how much you will earn in the present month run the Earnings Report and select "Month to Date". The report will show the earnings to date at the top of the page and at the bottom a summary of the weekly ads sold but not yet displayed by month.
The report does not estimate the Targeted CPC (RON) earnings for the rest of the month, but by looking at the historic data a forecast can be made.
An estimate of the month's earnings can be made by adding the "earnings to date," the estimate of weekly ad earnings for the "rest of the current month" and an estimate of the Targeted CPC (RON) for the rest of the month

How does my site’s rating affect ads on my site? |
| For sites rated "Everyone," publishers can only accept ads rated "Everyone." For sites rated “Teen,” publishers can accept ads rated "Everyone" and "Teen." Finally, for sites rated "Adult," publishers can only accept “Adult” rated ads.
How are ads rated? |
| Ads are rated by three ratings: “Everyone," “Teen," and “Adult." “Everyone” ads are appropriate for all ages including children, “Teen” ads are appropriate for persons 13 and over, and “Adult” ads are only appropriate for adults 18 and over.
Can I exclude certain types of ads regardless of the ad’s rating? |
| Yes, publishers have full control over the types of ads displayed on their sites. The publisher can exclude certain types of ads by checking the box for each category. For instance, if a publisher does not wish to include ads promoting gambling, pharmaceuticals, or sexual health, the publisher can simply click on the box for each category and exclude them from the site. Publishers can edit preferences at any time by logging in, selecting the "My Account" tab, scrolling to the "Publisher" box, and clicking the "Edit My Sites" link.
Can I change my site’s rating if or when the content of my site changes? |
| Yes, publishers can change the rating of their sites at any given time. However, all site rating changes must be reviewed and approved by AdEngage before going live.
How do I rate my site? |
| When submitting a new site, publishers are asked to select one of three options: Everyone, Teen or Adult.
How do I decide the rating for my website?
The definitions we have created are similar to those used by the video game industry and are as follows:
Everyone
Website content may be suitable for persons ages 6 and older. May contain minimal violence and some comic mischief or crude language.
Teen
Website content may be suitable for persons ages 13 and older. No nudity or explicit sexual content. May contain violent content, mild or strong language, and/or suggestive themes.
Adult
Website content suitable only for adults. May include graphic depictions of nudity, sex and/or violence. Not intended for persons under the age of 18.

| Ad4bucks awards stars for four criteria. The four criteria are (1) Average Clicks per Week per Ad, (2) Repurchase Rate, (3) Average Cost per Click (CPC) and (4) the Alexa Rank.
How is the average Clicks/Ad/Week calculated? |
| This figure is calculated by dividing the average total clicks per week by the average number of ads per block.
How is the average Clicks/Ad/Week calculated if a site has more active Weekly Ads in rotation than average ads per block? |
| This figure is calculated by dividing the average total clicks per week by the number of active weekly ads in rotation.

| Ad4bucks offers payments through checks, ePassporte, moneybookers, western union and wire transfer. The following is a guide that may help you decide which payment option is best for you:
